The app for Office will appear in your Access web app and will contain a message telling you to select data to display. Point to the labels in the app for Office to see how to specify the data. In the Choose the data for this App dialog box, select which fields of data from your Access web app that you want the app for Office to display, and then click OK. Use the pencil icon next to the name of your table Sales in this example to select a different table from your web app to bind this app for Office to.
No Bing Maps app
You add and hook up an app for Office from the browser and after that the app for Office behaves like a control. I see quite a few questions here which result in a locked thread and a reference to Bing maps support. Over there, there is only a developers forum and no support for ordinary customers. I am coming to the conclusion that there is no official Bing Maps application for Android.
Am I right? If so, is there ever going to be one? I would really rather not spend days manually re-entering details and I would prefer not to give all my location data to Google. Android phones use Google Maps app which is part of the Google Play Services agreement that mandates default positioning and availability of Google Apps on these phones. Moving forward, I fear may see this loyal MS user since windows 3. MS is no longer the dark lord.
Unfortunately there is no longer an alternate phone OS. If only you'd hung on. I have downloaded Microsoft Launcher to my Android phone but the integration between it and my PC is nowhere near as good as the Windows version. It's not just apps and Bing but photos on OneDrive don't display as well and music is awful. The auto sync with OneDrive music doesn't work any more and when I used WMP to transfer some albums, it did an automatic conversion to wma which Play won't use.

A couple of things to try. First ensure that your app is allowed to access the users location. Most mobile platforms require you to mark that the app requires access to the GPS in the manifest. Another thing to look into is the possibility that the userLocation isn't populated before your callback for the directions manager is called. It's possible that the GPS takes a little longer on the mobile device to find the users location and as such the directions loaded function is firing before the users location is set, thus passing in a null starting.
You might find it useful to have a flag to indicate that the directions manager has loaded and a simple function that runs after setting the flag and also runs after setting the use location that checks that both the directions manager has loaded and the user location has been set and then calls your directions loaded function. When the Website preference is set to 'desktop version' the map renders correctly. When the Website preference is set to 'mobile version' the map renders incorrectly.
