For any one still struggling to understand, you cannot update an ipod to the latest version if you are using an older unupdated itunes. If the file is not supported in your itunes, then you have the wrong file for your ipod generation. The latest jailbreak doesnt work on this ipsw. I had to restore. And one more question, Is this ipsw adultrated?
