Choose the 'Express Delivery' option in your shopping cart! You have to import all the photos first before you can see them full screen. Only then can you see any misfocus or other problems.

But by then you have two copies, one on the iPad and one on the card. Yes I know you can delete all photos from the card after importing, but then you have only one copy of your photos on one device. And no serious photographer would tolerate that. On a cruise ship or elsewhere, backing up to iCloud is not an option. So the only option is to delete individually all the bad ones both from iPad and from the card now back in the camera and leave the good ones.

Does exactly as it says on the box. I do photography and now it's so much easier to share my photos on all my apple devices! I literally take Does exactly as it says on the box. I literally take all my photo so on my camera then plug it straight into my iPad and done! Then my cloud puts them everywhere I need them! I want to transfer photos from my Panasonic GX9, which I can do wirelessly but the idea of this gadget is to make that a quicker and simpler process. I can put the SD card in the reader and Photos opens on the iPad and it will transfer all or some of the pictures.

So the basic process works. However, as people have already remarked, there is only a thumbnail size preview available, which is pretty poor.

There is NO other information whatsoever in Photos, before or after import, not even basic info such as file name, date and time, resolution. This is bizarre!! It definitely can't and the Files app doesn't even see the card. So you can't use an SD card for transfer or backup.

Another glaring omission. Oddly, it lets you delete from the card, which you wouldn't want to do so that's a useless function.
