Verified Purchase. I charged this battery up and took it to a job the next day. The battery lasted 4 hours which is pretty good. Looking forward to using again. One person found this helpful. Highly recommend! These batteries were recommended to me by a friend and I was skeptical at first because of the price. I have to say, I'm very impressed. The build quality seems really good, it fits perfectly on my Anton Bauer plate and lasts as long as the IDX I purchased at the same time. I haven't noticed any decline in charge over the last few months, even with almost daily use.

I recently got a new mile range Chevy Bolt EV and quickly realized that I needed to have my own L2 charge station because charging on a normal V household circuit was just too slow. I had an electrician repurpose, upgrade and move an unused V electric dryer circuit. He upgraded the breakers and line to 50 Amps and I installed a more modern grounded outlet on the garage wall where the JuiceBox would go. The JuiceBox Pro is configured to enable charging starting when off-peak begins and stopping the next day when it ends.

All I have to do is come home and plug in the Bolt. The JuiceBox Pro takes care of the rest. I found that other charge stations could only provide up to 30 Amps. Because of the amperage I can easily fully charge from a depleted state overnight. The JuiceBox Pro provides plenty of juice for my Bolt.

Took less than ten minutes to hang and install. After our electrician ran a 50 amp circuit to the garage WiFi option is nice, but not pct required if your car connects to Internet. So far so good. Will update in 6 months. Charger works Great. Some Gotchas. NO indicator what-so-ever on the unit. No power indicator.

No Ready, Charging, Finished - Nothing. The charger should have at an absolute minimum a Power and Charging light. If for no other reason than safety. My unit did not come with wall mount which is included. I called EMW and they shipped one right away. It came much faster then the expected delivery date. This was good and bad.

Bad because I was not expecting it so I missed the Saturday delivery, but got it the following Tuesday. This could have been avoided if they provided shipping details such as a tracking number. I appreciate being able to adjust the Charging rate. Being around EVs for years, if I am not in a hurry I prefer to charge at a lower rate to keep the stress on the batteries and charging system down. Although there is room for improvement I gave the charger 5 stars.

The Wifi is a plus. Recently had a problem where the charger would not connect to the network. The people at EMW were great, very helpful! We got it back online and it is working perfectly again. Liked it so much, I bought another! I love me some JuiceBox! So much so that I bought two of them - one for home and one which I installed at my office. We have a Tesla, which comes with its own charger cable for volt connections.

We use that one at home, but I had been wanting to also be able to charge at the office, as we can pay for that electricity with pre-tax dollars we own the business , rather than paying it through our home utility bill, which is paid with after-tax dollars. Also, we recently leased a Fiat e for the office staff to run errands in. The Fiat only includes a volt charger, which takes about 25 hours to fully charge the battery from empty, and that's just too slow to be practical. Since the Fiat can't use the Tesla charger, and the Fiat only has about a 90 mile range, it made sense to be able to charge it at home as well as the office we commute 23 miles each way.

So I have the Tesla charger at home for the Tesla, a JuiceBox at home for the Fiat, and a 2nd JuiceBox at the office, which can charge the Fiat or the Tesla using the little adapter that came with the Tesla. The hardest part of the installation is running the volt outlet to plug into. Mounting the JuiceBox is really easy - just three screws, and it can be removed with only 1 screw in case you want to take it with your for travel, etc.

Warranty & Support

If theft is a concern, it's possible to remove the cover of the JuiceBox, and screw it down from the inside, making it much more difficult to steal. Having said that, it is possible, and we installed one of ours using this method. Though there is some fluctuation, we get between 30 and 40 miles per hour of charge, on both the Tesla and the Fiat.

We've been using them for 4 or 5 months, and have had zero issues with them. Very happy with this purchase, and would happily buy another if needed. In fact, I installed a second volt outlet at the office, in anticipation of installing an additional JuiceBox in the future for client use or in case we add another electric vehicle.

Both our Tesla and our Fiat include wireless capability for controlling charging and other functions, so we haven't needed to use the wifi functions on the JuiceBox. I've never even bothered to check whether it works, though I'm sure it does, and it's nice to know the feature is there if we ever decide to use it. FYI, our 1st JuiceBox came with a volt cable of approximately 4 feet in length the charger cable is 24 feet. Our 2nd JuiceBox, ordered a couple of months later, had a volt cable of only about 15" the charger cable on this one was also 24 feet , so bear that in mind when planning your installation.
