If you've ever thought the physical buttons on Samsung's phones felt cheap, or the iPhone's too bland, you'll appreciate RIM's contoured buttons for volume and media playback. Wood also played a role in choosing the system font for BlackBerry 10, which is called Slate. When you have such a high-res display, you get really accurate letterforms. When you have a really great font design, that improves productivity. You're not squinting, and letters are not misinterpreted. What it does have are capacitive sensors that mean you can swipe left and right over the top to, say, flip among home screens. The fingerprint reader is working very well so far. I like a good convenience key for launching any app I pair with it. On the KeyOne, the button on the phone's right edge can open Google Voice Search, the camera or any other app or shortcut you use a lot. I love convenience keys and I like that this one's customizable.

I'm still deciding what to put here. Since I can trigger the camera by double-pressing the volume button, I don't really need it there.

BlackBerry in the Android Age

Google Assistant is pretty easy to get to. And the button seems to trigger in my bag, so I hesitate to assign it to a person and call them unintentionally. Taking a cue from Samsung's Edge phones, the KeyOne has a little tab you can pull over on any screen. This opens a module that shows you upcoming appointments and tasks, and lets you view some recent messages.

There's also a Settings menu you can access to customize the tab's size, placement and transparency. I think it's helpful to see my calendar appointments and messages from any screen, but I'd love it more if I could customize what to include and keep out. The megapixel camera has an automatic mode that's got plenty of filters, auto-HDR and panorama, but not the truckload of features you see on other devices.

This might suit you fine, especially if you mostly take photos using automatic mode. There's a pro mode you can turn on in the camera settings, which gives you much finer control over white balance, ISO and all the rest. An 8-megapixel front-facing camera takes straightforward selfies. You can apply the usual filters. Image quality was fine, but not as bright or lush as the Galaxy S8, which also has a megapixel lens. Images were a little less detailed on the KeyOne, but so far I'd be happy enough to share them online and with friends.

In addition to everyday buyers, the folks behind the BlackBerry brand are also reaching out to businesses and government agencies to support the phone. I dont want to buy the same and decided to give a shot for BB and i am glad i took the right decision. PROS Great looking, small beast in your hands. This is how a mobile should be. There is no CONS in the mobile as i got what i want. Battery is good and a full day is absolutely possible without a charge. I am in love with this phone and grab it if you want.

Chasing the BlackBerry - Jun. 17,

Initially the phone was good but now the touchscreen- one of the main reasons i bought this- has stopped working. The battery also runs out very quickly and the phone hangs regularly for a few seconds. Try to avoid this product. The phone was Perfect and genuine But unfortunately the travel Adapter was Damaged, disturbed and broken. Very Dissapointed But delivery was really Fast. I ordered ds Mb n received it on time Thanks 4 dt I had tried every thing even a expert visited me 2 resolve my prblm but he too couldn't help me out Mb is awesome This product is not to fresh piece I am buying in BlackBerry Blackberry seal unbox available this product is reused product.

Don't buy this phone, this mobile already used and repaired. Yesterday received this mobile battery got faulty, please don't buy this product Flipkart. Its totally time West. Bye Bye BB. I have been using Bold since last 2 years and was pretty much satisfied with the device. I upgarded the OS from 5 to OS 6 and except for low application memory nothing was wrong. Bold has nothing exciting only upgrades i got are Hindi text support on webpages Incresed browser cache. Headphone are toooooo bad.



No carry case. This is an amazing phone sleek and efficient. I have been using it for a little more than a month and it is worth every bit.
