I'd actually planned to get a One X and saw an S3 deal and took a chance, and as it happens I'm really glad I did. Tack sharp and with options to make the colours natural it's quite simply eye-poppingly good. The UI is buttery smooth and it all just hangs together beautifully. Nice job Samsung. I bought this phone on Sunday 3rd May so I've had a fair amount of time to play with it. I had to get the white one as the blues are in short supply but as soon as I walked in to the phone shop and saw it there in white, I was in love. This is my first Smart Phone, always had devices such as iPod touch so was always tempted to get an Apple phone as I have Apple everything and have bought so many apps for them. Seen friends phones and in the end decided to wait for this Samsung Galaxy S3 and was not disappointed. It's a lovely sized device, beautiful big screen but feels weightless in your pocket.

Sending email, texts, photos, anything works perfect. I bought this to do everything but be a phone really and its mobile browsing etc is blindingly fast, probably due to the quad core.

The camera takes really good pictures for a 8mp and the fact you can just slide an additional SD card in to it makes storage simple. The S voice is a bit hit and miss but better than I thought, google works really well with it too.

I could not believe it, The screen is so beautiful that you wish you could never stop looking at it.

The applications are not preloaded but that is kind of an advantage so that you can select the apps that you need from the Play store and the Samsung store. The thing that has not been featured in any promotion so far is the quality of the music that this phone has. It will surely impress the music lovers. The S-Voice is a bit of let down because of its limited capability. I am sure there is a scope for improving in that segment. Calling and messaging which is the essential features are simple and great.

The S3 has fulfilled all the requirements that I used to choose it. A combination of battery life, speed, memory capacity and functionality meets my needs and more. While the size of the handset is a bit too much the screen more than compensates for this.

The Quad-Core processor is amazing, I thought the S II was the bottleneck speed for a phone, but no, Samsung did it again and made the S III the fastest phone, there is not even a small amount of lag and everything is done instantly.

The camera is also great, slightly better than the iPhone 4S. Android is as good as ever. Touchwiz has also been refreshed, but at sometimes it can feel slightly dated. The phone feels luxury and durable, despite being made of plastic. Smart stay works reasonably well, but in the dark it does not work at all expected. S Voice, like Siri is only really a gimmick. It will need charging every night. The volume and clarity of this phone is really quite amazing and will easily drown out ambient noise.
