I have the setting enabled on the app and there seems to be no setting in the notifications section on the iPad settings itself. I know this is like a mirror from the web application so does that mean that notifications cannot be sent since this is technically not an app? Thank you for using our application.

Unfortunately there is no notification feature. We are working for that. I have been using this app for about 2 months now - paid for the ad-free version. Having it on my iPad helps when I need to charge my phone at my desk but still require WhatsApp on the go during meetings.

Overall, my experience has been decent but the reason s why my rating is capped at 3 at the month I would have given 2.
