For some reason, I'm no longer able to boot into recovery mode. A user on XDA forums advised me to come here to do download the stock firmware and flash it with Flashfire. I just did that, but nothing on my phone is any different. Should I try flashing that one?

I really don't follow most of the technical aspects of this, although I have rooted and flashed my phones in the past many times. Basically, I want to get a recovery interface back on my phone and would like to change to a custom ROM Cyanogen? Any suggestions?
