This case is actually two pieces of pretty hard plastic that snap together to form an excellent fit around the Samsung galaxy S2. It's very unobtrusive and keeps the phone looking sleek like it was designed to be. The case has a nice feel to it. The only reason for four stars is that the case snaps together so well that, when I wanted to replace the battery and put on a new screen protector, I had to pry the two halves apart with a coin which marred up the edges of the one little hole that looks like it was designed for this purpose.

The case snapped back together well.

Since I will be swapping batteries out regularly, I will update this review if the case starts to fail. At this point, 2 weeks into my purchase, the case works great and is the best value I've seen. Hot Pink Package Type: I bought this for a Christmas present and I was very disappointed. It does not fit the Epic 4G Touch phone! Red Package Type: This case was exactly what I expected.

Looks exactly as in the picture and has a nice feel to it. I don't know what phone this is for, but it is not for my Samsung epic phone. I would not order from this again. Would have returned it, but wasn't sure where to contact. Love it. I love this case. The red is a dark jewel color. It fits well, and is not slippery so I don't drop my phone.

But if I did, the case would protect it. The soft case that goes over the hard shell easily slips on, and it is ready to go. I am able to stand the phone on it's side vertically and horizontally, and the shell seems a little more shockproof than just my phone alone. The only downside to this cover is that it slightly cuts off the bottom menu, the home and back touch keys, just a teensy little bit.

This means that when you are touching those keys, you are touching the case but you can still push the buttons without a problem. This happens with the side when In Stock. I have a galaxy S2 Boost phone for quite sometime now. And over the last few years I've purchased many phone cases to keep my phone looking or at least feeling new to me. This case by far has been my favorite!!!

The silicone gel plus the hard case keeps my phone protected at the black and white polka dotted hearts are super cute! The buttons and extra features fit perfectly too. Front piece is a thin rim that surrounds the top edge of the phone, but doesn't cover very much of the phone's flat front perhaps 1mm in from the edge ; it has some matching half-cutouts for volume controls, etc and snaps pretty securely to the back piece of the case.

Finish is smooth matte, somewhat non-slip. If I should happen to drop or crush the phone, I'd expect the case to break pretty easily, but hopefully to protect the phone in doing so. Price, snugness, thinness, lightness, matte finish, fit to Epic Touch 4G. I also like that the base plastic visible on the inside of the case is also black, not white as with some other cases. The case top and bottom openings don't quite match each other for the microphone and ringer speaker holes.

The openings are big enough, it's just that the edges of the holes don't quite match; for the other larger controls on the phone edge volume, headphone, power, etc the hole edges on top and bottom meet nicely. I have to say that apart from these openings, it really was a great case - it was solid, looked nice - but maybe I just got a defective one.

The seller was great, refunded me immediately - took me ages to pry the case off my phone, ended up having to use a screw driver and scratching my phone DAMN, it's brand new but I just can't keep it on. I don't even mind the power button and volume buttons, but to not be able to charge the phone?

The openings for the headphone jack at the top and the tiny speaker grille on the back near the bottom are in the wrong place for this phone Otherwise the case fits perfectly, has openings in the right places for the USB jack, power button and volume controls, and provides the level of protection I am looking for in a cell phone case.

Fortunately it is easy enough to remove a little slot is provided to help with this and until I find the perfect case, I can just pop it off when I need to use headphone or speakerphone.
