I own this phone since February That was 4 years ago and it's still working. It's a good quality phone. It fell out of my pocket and the screen once hit a spiky rock.

All it got was a really small dent. Even the battery, the same one I had when I bought the phone still has a pretty good life. It will last hours when actively using the phone, depending if it's surfing, playing games or watching videos.

When I am not using it a lot, it can easily last for 2 days, sometimes more. For a 4 years old battery it's not bad at all. X8's performance is not too bad. It can get slow after using multiple apps, so unless you don't mind it, using a task manager to free some RAM is a must. It has trouble opening sites with large contents when using a default browser, so Opera Mini or some other similar browser is recommended.

One of the most disappointing things about this phone is that it doesn't have an update above Android 2. Sony really disappointed me for not making at least Android 2.

It really needed it for one good reason, its low storage space. You will run out of it pretty quickly, since you can't move apps to SD card.
