I read everything and tried everything and none of these ideas would work for me. I finally saw a video of a guy replacing a speaker in the tablet and decided that the connection was broken. I hit the back hard with my fingers where the speaker is located and some sound came out. I pushed on it and it snapped in and instantly started working. Hopefully this helps someone in the future. I bought new Samsung A10 2day ago…. My sound on A3 went off, restarting the phone was all it took to come back on so try first it is probably the easiest thing to start with…..

This happened with me twice and worked by applying slight pressure on screen until loose is gone. I tried everything but none of them worked. Then I just turned off my phone and minutes later, I turned it on and the sound just came back. Same soumd issue on my J6…simply removed my SIM cards and used the brush trick to clean d openings and also d speaker opening …Rebooted it and that settled it.

Definately a bug in the strava App as Samsung Health picks up gps in a matter of seconds. GPS also isn't work with the Strava app for me. Anyone got a solution? The GPS icon on the Strava app on the watch is greyed out and no distance is recorded during outdoor activity. I have the same problem! The GPS icon is grey and it doesn't search for a signal. I have no problem with my gear tracker app, though.

The GPS icon was always greyed out. I don't know if all these steps are necessary but they solved it:. It will ask you to allow Strava to use GPS. Certify that you allow it. I did 1 and 2 and Strava was still not able to use GPS. Doing step 3 solved it and now, in a matter of 1 or 2 seconds, the GPS icon becomes active. Diogo's fix worked for me. Many thanks. Sophie, yes. Just pressed the plus button, to start monitoring a new running activity, on the Strava app on the phone and immediately asked me to allow access to GPS. Maybe the watch is trying to get the GPS location via the phone via bluetooth in case the watch is not able to get the GPS signal from the GPS sensor in the watch because I am within the house and I guess when I leave the house without phone then the fallback from phone GPS location to the watch GPS location is not working properly. Please try to deactivate bluetooth on your phone before starting strava app and starting a new running activity and share your results here.

Maybe someone can confirm my theory. This is ridiculous. I cant use my samsung active watch with strava. The gps doesnt work. Its working fine on the watch with samsung health but in strava it just dont connect. Are you going to fix this problem, Strava? I have tried all of the above with no long term result. It's really frustrating, especially since unlike with Nike Running Club it's impossible to edit the run so either I lose all the data and put in the correct distance or I keep saving incorrect runs. I have the same issue with a galaxy watch 46mm. I managed to fix it by uninstalling Strava on my phone and then doing a complete re-boot of my watch. I then re-installed Strava on both my phone and watch and started runs on both separately to approve privacy settings. This seems to have worked!!

Later I could not turn on the watch with the power button so I hard factory reset it in Recovery mode a few times, but after I start going through the setting process, the watch shuts down. Later I could not turn on the watch at all. So I factory reseted the watch while it was sitting on the charger and was able to start the watch. I have this watch since February and it's out of warranty and Geek team at Best Buy told me to talk to Samsung since it's a software Tizen 3. Samsung opened a case, but tells me to take it for a repair to a place that we don't even have in our aria.
