I think its terrible that we had to wait so long for Sony to release the Kit Kat update, to now find that we have to wait even further for EE to approve and roll it out. I know people who are on O2 and Three who have already received the update. How much longer do we have to wait - EE give us a timeline! I also noted that the small updated that Sony rolled out 6 weeks ago, I did not get that update either! The first version contained a number of bugs which were not acceptable, this included a bug which caused the sound from videos to use the wrong speaker at times.

I am currently running the new firmware on a Z1, it appears to be a big improvement over the first release. Have been running the latest Z1 4. RAM management is better which seems to add a bit of additional zip it wasn't slow but now feels faster. Either Sony Mobile UK have changed their release strategy or all other networks have approved it.
