Samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 running slow

Apr 6, 22, 11 , 10, When you did the 'restore' restore is for computers, reset for Android devices was it actually a reset that saves your data, or a full on "Hard Reset" which totally wipes the device and sets it back to its original status? If it wasn't the second one, then I would save your personal data off the device and then try that to see if it resolves the issue.

Then check for sluggishness before you install anything yourself.

If it works fine before you reinstall anything, then it is something you are installing that is the problem, or to much somethings and not leaving the device much in available resources which would also cause it. Should t happen even before you again install things, then I would be looking at a hardware problem. Doing this will clear 'all' the data on your tablet, so it is suggested you not choose this option unless you have to, or aren't worried about losing anything on the device. Be sure you back up any data you want to keep, to a computer or cloud account, before doing the reset.

To "Hard Reset" the tablet Make sure that the tablet is actually powered off. Remove your SD card, if there is one in the device. Press the "Power" and the "Volume Up" buttons, together, until you see the start-up logo on the screen. Once you can see the logo, release the buttons and allow the device to enter the "System Recovery Mode". On the following screen, repeatedly press the "Volume Down" button until the "Yes - delete all user data" option is what is selected.

Then press the "Power" button to hard reset the tablet. If you took your SD card out in step 2, when the device is up and running again, reinsert the SD card. They don't want to go to the running apps app or install an app that will take a look at what app is using CPU and RAM. There's another issue dogging Android and it really shouldn't be here except the same issues that dog software developers still haunt us today. Tell me if you need to dive into that area. Remember I don't call reset to be drastic.

I just reset 2 or 3 tablets last week and didn't think anything about it. I've got the small samsung tablet and the larger one, they are both bad have gotten so slow it's not even worth using them cuz sooo frustrating! I've tried everything to fix it but nothing works. I think they are just bad products! I would never get another samsung. Go with the iPads from everyone I know with one there has never been any trouble!

Not just samsung. Not being that pc knowledgeable, I'm petrified about wiping my tablet that keeps me alive! Somehow, I've ended up with a smart ish Windows 8. At 60 yrs old, I worry a bit - and living on severe disability allowance, think that, without my bloody expensive smart phone, I'm a bit stuck.

If your data is only on the phone then it's not safe. Solution 1. Uninstall all existing apps 2. After uninstall use apps and check the speed. Install one Anti-virus 4. Format the Tab It may be because you have installed more apps and your tab not much RAM to support that. You know if you don't use FB apps it keeps running in the backend, as result it slows the Tab performance. You need to check what are the apps running backend and you need to force stop that.

I hope you can get benifit from my answer. Given step 4, why steps 1 2 3? All steps may be required because it step r might not reset the SD card if u have one and j this case yea and the anti virus will do its thing on the card. When I format it's all gone. Also, SD Cards are not installed due to they can, if there is some issue there bad, worn out can mislead the tech to think the tablet is in need of a new board.

You should empty you internal memory and remove external memory. There may be any virus so scan also your tablet and then try again. No difference with a tablet. Installing new apps to verify what apps are currently running will slow it down further. Android has built in tools to verify which applications are running and the ability to shut down applications manually.

My tablet is running slowly

Hey friend I think it may be virus problems, so i think update your antivirus and scan it. Also it has the problem of storage capacity, Android mobiles which have less internal storage and RAM then it makes slower and slower our smartphones. You can format your phone and restart again. Install 'android assistant free'. Tap 'kill' apps. Repeat this 2 or 3 times as the app works cumulatively though it seems to remove most on first go..
