There is a thin plastic covering the back when it's new. I left it there to give me an additional few months of protection of the back cover until the plastic started to peel off. I bought my first case from "Acase". I like that case a lot but over time it absorbed stain and no matter what I used to clean it I even soaked it in bleach for the whole day , I couldn't get the stain off so it looks ugly. This case is polished smooth so it doesn't have the same issue. Granted the Acase has a silicone cover that provided extra protection on the phone.

But then again, I'm usually pretty careful with handling my phone that I'm not too concern about it. Thus, this case serves my need. Doesn't look like it will slowly chip apart Very nice. Doesn't look like it will slowly chip apart like my other case. My other case chipping apart and I didn't get around to replacing the case until I dropped the phone and broke the LED display.

With the case the bottoms are a lot firmer and don't push in while picking up the phone. Not too firm, just the right touch. This case is awesome and comes exactly as described. It's very, very thin and unobtrusive, yet appears to offer good protection. It's certainly no military grade case, like a Seido, or Otter, but those things make the phone into a shoe.

I wanted to retain the sleek, thin profile of the phone and I can't imagine any case, which offers any level of protection, could even match this. There's a "just exactly perfect" amount of relief surrounding the screen of the Note 2. That's perhaps my only gripe about the Galaxy line, is that the screen is so vulnerable, but this case offer perhaps 1.

The three control buttons are brilliant! They're as light and easy to actuate with the case on, as they are without it. Shockingly good, really. The cutout's for your charging dock, S-pen, camera and headphone jack are precisely placed and completely unencumbered. The rear of the case is nearly exactly the same material and rigidity as the battery cover of the phone. The bezel is only slightly softer, but is soft enough to offer adequate cushion if case of a fall, but not so soft as to make it difficult to insert, or remove from a pocket.

This is simply a fantastic case. Do buy Samsung phones, TV'S and such. So that you can just waste your money and not protect your phone. I could of cut out a cardboard wrap around that would of looks and served as much purpose as this garbage, or the flip case I forgot to take back to Best Buy in time and then not get my money back. Do buy their other cool products. As the heading says, I have had many phone cases.. It add no noticeable weight to the phone and no noticeable bulk yet it feels like it is protecting it as well as many other cases I have liked that were bulkier This is an absolute must especially for men as we carry our phones in our pockets..

GREAT price too. I bought this last year in , my first case was a clear rubbish one. I decided to get this because I wanted it to look stock Samsung which it is. The build quality is great, it's not a thick but of course will be thicker than without a case for the phone. It grips well on the edges and fully protects the back and edge of the phone.

For the price, I will buy this again. I told him how much it was, he went "What?

NFC works great with it. The case is slim enough that the phone. This case is more slim than the others I've tried for my Note 2. It hardly adds any thickness to the phone. It fits snug and offers decent drop protection. It's grippy on the sides only. The back is slick so it will slide around if you sit it on your dash or something. The advantage of the slick back is that it will slide in and out of your pocket easily. The case is slim enough that the phone still fits into Samsung docks. Overall I'm completely satisfied with it.
