I had the same problem after updating to iOS I tried what worked for you, and it fixed the data problems, but MMS messages wouldn't send or receive.

I was on 3 different support calls for over three hours and nothing worked. I finally factory reset the phone and now it all works.

Follow the guide as if your APN is tfdata. I have straight talk. And I believe T-Mobile sim. When i followed the steps in trying to find my APN. I did all this, and my pic messaging still wont work. For instance, what is your apn? All articles seem to mention apn names of tfdata, att. I am using a straight talk verizon phone with the iOS 8 update. I cannot get the internet or picture messaging with without being on wifi. If not, call Straight Talk for help. They may be able to fix the problem for your end. They are able to update the APN they referred to them as network MPN settings settings for me and the phone works for mobile data and iPhone messaging.

I get this message several times per week. I do not want to have to keep calling ST to maintain my mobile data connection constantly.
