Can you change the Application Access setting? Default config. If they are set to O2 you'll want to set them to giffgaff. The manual is no help on what the options are but those bits sound like they may set a default access point. Already tried that planeman.

I end up with the same problem as trying to install opera, it requires access to the network and just times out. I'm sure it's something to do with your last point glw. All my o2 profiles are still listed but I've selected the giffgaff profile.

I've also made the giffgaff profile active in all applications. The preferred access points that are listed are all o2 access points. However this shouldn't matter as these are bypassed by the recommended settings in personal config. There's no option to delete or change them anyway. There are instructions on giffgaff for this phone.

Followed them exactly and I get the exact same problem as on the Nokia X3. When I open up the Opera mini browser and try to access a site the browser displays a small flashing'G' icon in the top right corner and then I get a failed to connect message. Have I managed to select the only 2 phones that are incompatible with giffgaff.
