The microSD is encrypted and incorporated into internal storage, so apps are supposed to use it that way, but some just won't. It can foul up installations as well as normal operation of some apps. One fix that is not mentioned is related to a corrupted memory card. If you have apps that write to the memory card and the card is corrupted, you will have this kind of error. Simply remove the memory card and try the app that has stopped working. Apps like the camera and Kinsa thermometer stopped working, along with video. Turned out, the memory card was corrupt. Everything works fine now. I just need to buy a new one. I was able to download everything I had on the card to my computer hard drive. It is a huge error on Google's part and they won't fix it.

They refuse to use their own apps on their own phones. Go figure.
