Any big company that starts to normalize higher DPI displays is a good by me. Prices will drop and I will finally be able to get something beyond x without spending a fortune. Why have a convoluted system of different sized bitmaps and DPI settings? OS X and Windows both do it. If only there were a suitable graphics format for GUI widgets, completely independent of the resolution. I've designed web sites with SVG graphics used for the menus and backgrounds and icons and so on.
