This is why I hate HTC phones. Samsung phones much much easier and NO locked boot loader. Yea same steps I had to do for my girls mytouch 4g when I tried to flash a gb rom. Anyone know if this will improve the battery because honestly that is the only downfall of the Amaze now… other than that its a great phone.

Can honestly say it probably doubled. Hope you experience the same with your Amaze. That is the main app that is making me hang back from flashing on a new rom. Well, that and bricking my phone…. IT says nothing that it will work for the Sensation. Go ahead and flash it if you want but your phone will turn into a paper weight.

Every phone has differences in the software due to differences in hardware. I downloaded and installed this about 2 hours ago. You can tell a major difference in how it runs.

This is the phone I have been waiting for. The true question is, is ICS really better then whats on here already? I actually really like sense and the way things are. I didnt like the youtube videos on how the camera app is on ICS, also didnt like the lock screen. Yes it is that much better. You will notice a major speed increase in normal day to day activities. ICS actually uses both cores and not just one. It makes the entire experience so much better. The lock screen is no different, and there is more than one camera app out there….

Seriously considering doing this. My phone keeps shutting off randomly on me. Funny you should mention that because lately my phone has been restarting when I hit the home key.

It is a defect in the Amazes battery. Mine does it too. Go to batteries plus and buy an aftermarket one. If you go to XDA there will be detailed instructions. If you follow them to a T you should be fine. XDA usually has very specific instructions and they are usually very thorough.

Is this the only place on the internet to download the rom from?? I am not sure if this question was answered anywhere in these postings. The file has populated and now its asking me if I want to update. Before updating, please tell me if there are there any known issues with this particular build?

This build is the official update that will be rolled out in a few weeks. I have been running this build for a few hours and I can honestly say my phone actually runs a bit faster and smoother!! Its not working for me. Can i do this s-on? Or do i have to root and s-off? Ive done all of that rooting stuff on my sensation so im not a noob.
