The APP can control my receiver just fine, change inputs, volume etc and are all on the same network.

I did not read properly before I purchased these speakers- maybe!!! Even though you have connected them, the settings still need to be configured in the TV. When I try to open the app and turn on music, the app shows only demo. Sometimes it will let me select the system and turn it on, but most of the time it won't.
