Started playing it on PS3 for last couple of years, always buying new version. This one PES is great but all that came was expected. Graphics are excellent. Players moves are cool and real. Biggest improvement is passing and crossing.

Tried passing without any assistance and it is hard, but it brings up new level in playing. AI is improved and there is no matrix where you can project the passing and cut, nor you can easily stop AI attack. Only reason game will get 4 stars from me is more of a personal thing. I am playing the game as manual as possible, so I like to do defense manually as well.

Problem is that with pressure and adding another player to apply pressure you really are not controlling the defense. Looking for improvement in this area. Had fun. Won English cup as well. Almost impossible to beat Barcelona in Champions League Finals on professional level. Then started playing Become a Legend and without any doubt this is an awesome feature. I know they had it on previous versions but first time played and I can say it is fantastic addition. Thinking of giving a game 5 stars. PES is a great improvement over last year installment.

Computer at "Top Player" is an incredibly challenge, sometimes even frustrating.

I didn't have a chance to play anything different but a league, so I don't really know how good other play modes are. Licensing is a problem, which can be easily solved applying a patch. Two major drawbacks are the computer which systematically scores on a free kick and the "accumulated fatigue" implementation, which doesn't take into account real life recovery time. I just turned off that option, but is a shame developers didn't realize how unrealistic that feature is.

I have fond memories of playing a similar game on the original Playstation in the s. Therefore, I guess I was expecting this game to have more modernized graphical output, which it does not. The camera angles are limited.

This game is back to it's best! Of course the licensing isn't as good as F1F4, but that has never been what this game is about. Fluid gameplay, great character editing, and of course the Master League! Iw as disappointed when I saw that Castolo, Minanda et al had not returned, but watch out for a sneaky surprise when you play through the seasons! Only down side for me is the online play.

Communication is poor, but for me the biggest problem: - You can only play against US players I have recently moved from the UK and bought this game so that my brother and I could play each other and have some fun when he is up late! Unfortunately, unlike F1F4 I cannot choose to play him even in a head-to-head match, as Europe plays on a separate server.

So, while he can play somebody who is in France, Spain or the Netherlands, he can't "invite" me or I him to a head-to-head against each other.
