Thread: Opera Mobile 8. Opera Mobile 8. I recently installed Opera Mobile as an alternative to Nokia native browser, which is pretty good in my opinion. Anyhow, most people on this and other forum has said Opera mobile is faster then Nokia browser, but on my N, Opera would lag and lag, and when it's done loading, the page scroll would lag, totally not smooth at all.

Not to mention, my biggest complaint is the inability to log into ebay the selector will not switch over to sign in button Is there something wrong with my phone or my copy of Opera software? I've also tried Opera Mini but because of the proxy server, some of the forums site don't come up correctly.

On my old phone, Nokia , Opera Mobile kicked nokia browser's butt. It's just slow and seems outdated. I bet the Opera Mobile 9 will be good, but it's not out yet so we'll have to wait to find out. Give Opera Mini 4 a shot, it is free. IMO it's about as good, and in certain areas is better than nokia's browser. I always seem to go back to Opera Mini for my mobile browsing.
