Publix job application 15 year olds
If age matters, I do turn 16 at the end of June about a month , but I don't think the manager would consider that. Is there anything I can do in the next few weeks to get the job? I'm not looking for just a summer job I would keep it after summer but I need to at least secure the position before summer starts or I have to be an unpaid camp counselor in training at a bad summer camp.
Plus they can cashier. Good luck with getting the job. My biggest advice is to make your interest in getting the job very apparent to the store manager.

Always talk to the store manager because they make the decisions. I'm quite aware. I'm just saying if I don't get the job then I have to work somewhere I don't want to. Best thing to do is just keep pushing for the job. Update your application when necessary, and continue to approach the managers. Turning 16 might actually help you out, as a 15 year old you're still a mini minor so your time constraints are even tighter than a 16 or 17 year old.

Just keep applying and maybe your manager will hire you once you turn 16, being hired as a mini minor is incredibly difficult so they're probably not going to be hiring too many 15 year olds. We will happily pull someone open days a week with open availability versus someone with heavily restrictive availability.
Minors under 16 also have heavy restrictions on hours given. Well now that school is almost over, I'm technically available every day including weekends. At the beginning before she had auto deposit, she would forget to pick up her pay check for 2 -3 weeks. I had to go into the store and pick up 3 paychecks!!

Next month she turns 15 which means she can work extra hours and that is perfect timing with the summer break.
