Today I followed all the instructions to root a Galaxy Y GT-S that a friend of my wife gave to her, made a backup first, did the update. Before I placed a sim-card, I connected to my wifi en wanted to download and install WhatsApp. I encountered the error. I tried all the clear cache options but without success.

After that I followed the procedure for the second time. Clear all cache, installed the update. Changed the language settings, and now, before setting up a google acount and before making the wifi connection started application manager and cleared google services framework, made a wifi connection, rebooted the Phone and downloaded whatsapp and when asked, connected to my google account.

Now downloading and installing Whatsapp was successfull no more error. So many thanks for the files and instructions. Flash this zip file from cwm.. Sir mai gt s mai 4.
