I used it in Denmark and Germany without any issues. The 3 service using Wi Fi also works, we were able to see pictures and talk to the pround parents minutes after our new granddaughter arrived. I have EE and I get my calls etc covered under my u. Be aware that 3's 'feel at home' in Spain is for g only, no 4g, so face time might be a bit stuttery. I also found movistar a bit patchy connection wise.

I frequently had to go through the 'search for a network' procedure. If your device won't connect to movistar, the alternative is yoigo, which is a movistar partner. There is no deal with the other networks that show up in the search.

Not sure having "data roaming" switched on it can run up quite a bill if you have a lot of apps running.
