Whilst I do love the Note 8, I could not see myself writing copious amount of code using the touchscreen keyboard — no matter how good SwiftKey is. I plugged the On the Go Cable cable and into it I plugged in my wireless receiver which the Galaxy Note 8 instantly recognised.

Holding my breath, I moved the Bluetooth mouse and on the screen the mouse icon appeared! I was now controlling the Note 8 with my wireless mouse. I then opened my Text Editor on the device which is where I would be editing my code and using my wireless keyboard I was able to type as normal. For those wanting a nice physical keyboard to compliment your tablet, smart phone, or even computer if sitting away, this keyboard is a nice addition. The smart phone used for this review was a Samsung Galaxy Note 4. It synced up via Bluetooth with no trouble at all and worked flawlessly.

The keyboard itself is many of plastic throughout and has is a compact design with full sized keys. The keys have a nice tactile feel to them and the keyboard layout and spacing is not crowded like some compact keyboards.

This is a perfect travel keyboard, but carrying it bare in my day bag concerned me. I did a LOT of searching for some kind of generic slip case that would fit.
