I miss the old way for searching addresses and tracing routes, first choosing a city, after a number and or street USA standard , sometimes with two fields like Google Maps for simulating routes. This new way is a pain if you don't have internet assistance.

It's nothing intuitive if you wish to trace a route for simulation or to find nearby POIs as before. I still haven't found a good use for Sygic Travel combined with Sygic Navigation. If you wanna stay safe finding a place, try to plan it early, do it while connected to internet and preferably use coordinators, mainly if the road you wish to drive to has a different name in Sygic Navigation i.

I used the app over the Thanksgiving weekend. I used it to make a 13 hour one way road trip NY - NC. The app completely disappointed me. It re-routed me through a town and I found myself at a stoplight The screen kept changing while I was sitting still. At this time I had 6 hours left to travel according to the app According to google I had 5 hours of travel left from the exact same spot.

The app was constantly finding faster routes that were supposed to save me time but the routes actually added time to the travel and seemed to take me directly to traffic jams. It is completely free and I use it a lot.

I never had a bug in this app. Read this review and download the app and enjoy it. I purchased the premium upgrade because I understood I would require premium to use car play. Not as good as Google for searching businesses and restaurants, traffic information is a paid ad on.

The speed limit information and warnings are great, the routing is also very good. This is the only usable app that I have found for off-line routing. This app does not recognize my home address even when I manually enter my address as Home location I bought app " Sygic Egypt " and they stop supporting it and issued new app so you should to pay again!!!

I use it to go everywhere! It helps me nav. Through large city's and small towns. I always use it when going to Florida from Indiana. I like the navigation except for one thing, they should show your next turn constantly so that we will be more aware or be prepared for our next turn ahead. Please please please sygic fix this or you will be losing more customers soon.

Other than downloading maps, it does not need cell data for navigation. Even in the desert where there was no cellphone reception, and therefore no Google or Apple maps, Sygic never failed us. The app keeps getting better and better with updates and features like head up navigation on your windshield — which is so helpful driving at night. On the iPads you get an amazing large navigation screen, unlike a small GPS screen. Bought the complete worldwide package but there arent any maps for central america and if they appear, its i lu the name with ni download available.

I provided email feedback to developers but no response one week later. Never been able to use it. Im on vacation in El Salvador and the map download is only 4,5mb in size so as you can imagine it shows almost no response when searching for a destination.

Please try to fix this problem. Paid for sygic app and now another app playable in car play is here. Answer is yes!!! Not reputable to buy and then be asked to buy a different , more expensive version. Remember waze and google maps!!!!! So route calculated for longer directions. I really wanted to like this app for a lot of reasons - it has features that really sounded useful, and the downloadable maps would be good for when I sometimes spend an hour or so driving through areas with no cell coverage.

But I put in start and endpoints for a mile trip I do several times per year, and it gives me several alternative routes. So far, so good. I try to zoom in to see where the routes go.

Bad news! This is not the only time this problem has occurred with Sygic. By the way I think I put my money out. I send emails to support team but no ones answer my mail or dont solve my problem. I originally bought the app for 69 dollars, world maps only, not including traffic at the time I purchased the app, live traffic was a subscription I think. But after a short while, I checked in and saw that the price for the world map and lifetime live traffic was for 39 dollars.

Now they want me to "upgrade" my license and buy the lifetime traffic for I thought that they would value a longtime customer! But they did not care and said that they could not do anything because they just changed their business model! Using this app in the city that I live in right now would not be feasible without live traffic, so I guess I will stick with Google Maps or Waze at this time. Not worth it at all.
