Square Enix unfortunately has recently been following the lead of more notorious companies by suffocating the genre with IAPs. I hope they change this, because to many fans of this genre, that IS a deal-breaker. This game is amazing and I had a lot of fun playing it. I played both this version and the wii ware version. I totally prefer this. True the challenge dungeons are gone, but all the items from them can be bought in The Crystals chapter. Right outside the lunar whale. As far as not being at a high level. Mooning Final Fantasy IV: The After Years certainly isn't a game that's going to convert gamers to the charms of Square Enix's long-running RPG series, and it asks for a lot of knowledge about the comings and goings in the first game if you're really going to enjoy it.
