Mavericks app store updates broken

There seems to be a lot of new bugs with the app store on my machine. Minutes ago it listed 9 updates on the dock icon, but only 6 in the app itself.

Then when I clicked "update everything" nothing happened, instead I had to click every app individually. Then for some reason in the middle of updating Pages it decided that it wouldn't list it in available updates, instead saying "no more updates found". Scrolling stopped working in Safari among other places on the "History" page after upgrading.
