How To Fix “Unfortunately, Gallery Has Stopped” Error On Samsung Galaxy S3

I have had to reset my phone twice in one day. I have to reset my phone every other month or so, sometimes more often. I found out the people that work for Google refuse to test their own apps on their own phones. THAT tells me their apps are not good to use if they won't even use them themselves. This issue will not be resolved until Google fixes it and I don't see them doing that any time soon. Thanks Loie! I just fixed a similar issue with your help. I have Android 7. Did an update; no change. I still got the flag: So, l did a 'soft' reboot to no avail. Time to consult the Oracle of Odiousness- Google.

After a Re-start all was good. My phone shows "app update keeps stopping " error without specifying the app itself. What can I do? It worked fine for me The error messages I got was: I am using android 4.

I'll just flag two possibilities not covered in the article: Using the microSD as "adoptable storage" Android M and later can foul up apps that aren't modified to it. The microSD is encrypted and incorporated into internal storage, so apps are supposed to use it that way, but some just won't. It can foul up installations as well as normal operation of some apps. After problems on a Marshmallow tablet, I had to do a factory reset and reconfigure the microSD as ordinary external storage.

There is a half-way house between deleting individual app data and whole hog factory reinstall, which wipes out media, downloaded apps and system settings. Most devices support wiping the system cache partition, normally by restarting with a combined press of power button and volume up or down. The keypress combination opens a hidden Android menu, and selecting the cache parition wipe will do wonders, especially after a major operating system update.

It does not wipe Android settings, media files, individual apps, or their caches and the device should restart cleanly as it was.

android - Gallery(process phon-er.com) has stopped unexpectedly - Stack Overflow

My tablet keeps showing 'unfortunately com. Iv tried clearing data's, caches and even factory resetted but still the same message pops up. Any advice on what I can do? Please and thanks. I have a Galaxy J7 Sky Pro. I had the NC Education Lottery app loaded and it was working perfectly. I have tried all of the suggestions you listed below, except clearing data.

Just can't do that. Is there anything else I can do to fix this problem???? One fix that is not mentioned is related to a corrupted memory card. If you have apps that write to the memory card and the card is corrupted, you will have this kind of error. Simply remove the memory card and try the app that has stopped working.

Apps like the camera and Kinsa thermometer stopped working, along with video. Turned out, the memory card was corrupt. Everything works fine now. I just need to buy a new one. I was able to download everything I had on the card to my computer hard drive. It is a huge error on Google's part and they won't fix it. They refuse to use their own apps on their own phones.

[Solved] Unfortunately Clash of Clans has Stopped Issue

I am definitely not deleting any data. This article sucks as much as android does. It reminds me of those windows days when they used to say how you can stop the blue screen of death but nothing ever seemed to work. Then you have a sea of helpless blind people leading other blind people into perpetual frustration. This dumb issue has been on my samsung s8 since it left the store, it's been there after factory resets and cache clears and app deletions and anything else you can name.

This is a fault with the way the apps have been developed or the operating system itself. Users shouldn't have to "fix anything. And this is why android sucks.
