I think this is how SAM worked. What if you dont have the original carrier IMSI? Does this SAM still works?

Use AutoDetect instead of selecting the country and carrier. After that activate thru SAM no need of itunes. Guys i successfully unlocked my iPhone 4 iOS 5.

Is this diabled? I tried using the saved sam activation ticket and when I connected the iphone to itunes the message: Sim card not supported appeared. I did have the iphone unlocked with sam but I stupidly turned off the iphone and I lost my unlock. What should I do!?

How To Jailbreak iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS Running iOS 5.1 Using Redsn0w

It no longer works. Even grevy had to refund everyone as it no longer works. Sorry folks! I have a 4S and want to update the software to iOS 5. My iphone is on 3-network, UK. Step 2: Double click the Redsn0w zip file and extract the application to the Redsn0w folder. Navigate back to the Redsn0w folder and launch the Redsn0w application. Step 3: Windows 7 users should run the exe in Windows XP compatibility mode right-click on the Redsn0w exe and select Properties, then select the Compatibility tab and select Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP.

Step 4: You will now be prompted plug your iPhone to the computer and switch it OFF. Step 5: You will now need to put your iPhone into the DFU mode. Redsn0w will take you through the necessary steps:. Step 6: Your iPhone should reboot now. Please remember to release the Home button. Step 7: Redsn0w will now start preparing the jailbreak data.
